Internet Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: January 31, 2026

These Internet Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the website operated by Northedge Flooring LTD. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) located in Edmonton, Alberta (the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

2) Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site.

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, or systems;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
  • scrape, crawl, or harvest data in a way that disrupts or burdens the Site;
  • use the Site to transmit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.

3) Information on the Site (No Professional Advice)

Content on the Site is provided for general information. While we strive to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that descriptions, specifications, availability, pricing, photos, or other content are complete, accurate, or up to date at all times.

Flooring visuals and colors: Product images and samples may appear different on screens and in different lighting conditions. Final appearance may vary.

4) Quotes, Estimates, and Scope of Work

Any estimate, quote, or timeline provided through the Site (including via forms or email/phone follow-up) is non-binding until confirmed in writing by the Company.

Final scope, pricing, and timelines may depend on site conditions, measurements, subfloor condition, material availability, and other factors identified during assessment and/or installation.

5) Products, Pricing, and Availability

We offer both products (materials) and services (including installation-related services). Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • Prices displayed on the Site are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
  • GST will be added where applicable.
  • Prices and availability may change without notice, including due to supplier changes.

6) Orders and Purchase Requests (No Online Payment)

The Site may allow you to submit a request to purchase products or request services. Submitting a request does not create a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order/service in writing and (if applicable) issue an invoice or written confirmation.

We may refuse or cancel requests at our discretion (for example, due to availability, pricing errors, or service-area limitations).

7) Returns and Exchanges

For product purchases, we generally offer returns/exchanges within 14 days, subject to:

  • verification of purchase;
  • item condition and supplier/manufacturer rules (as applicable);
  • any additional return/exchange terms communicated to you at the time of sale.

To initiate a return or exchange, contact us using the details in Section 15.

8) Manufacturer Warranties and Service Disclaimers

Materials: Manufacturer warranties apply to materials where offered by the manufacturer. We do not replace or expand manufacturer warranty terms.

Services: Service outcomes depend on site conditions, subfloor integrity, existing materials, moisture levels, and other factors outside our control. Any specific service commitments (scope, timelines, workmanship terms) may be set out in a separate written agreement or invoice.

9) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, photos, logos, graphics, and design—is owned by or licensed to the Company and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

10) Reviews, Comments, and User Submissions

If the Site allows you to submit reviews, comments, or other content (“User Content”), you represent that:

  • you have the right to post it;
  • it does not violate laws or third-party rights (including copyright, privacy, or defamation).

By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and publish it in connection with the Site and our marketing.

We may remove User Content at our discretion.

11) Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or embedded services (e.g., maps or social media content). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

12) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy. (We will link it here once published.)

13) Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

16) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that courts located in Alberta will have jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms or the Site.

17) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
